been completely met by the unanimous verdict of the Jury when
my client was acquitted at the March sessions. As to the charge that he has no honest occupation in the Colony this was also absolutely disproved before the same jury in the same case in which the evidence as to honest employment in the Colony was not challenged, by orossexamination, by the Honourable Attorney General.
As to the charge that he has been convicted of carrying firearms. This is an offence for which he was fined $250 or 3 months in default. He has served his 3 months and is entitled te his freedom. It is not a sufficient ground for banishment.
My client desires to appear by counsel before His Excellency in Council to meet any charges that may be attempted to be made against him. In view of the evidence that was given in the sessions case already referred to it is surprising that the allegations as to his identity with Chu Tsoi, allegations which were distinctly disproved should still be persisted in.
